Welcome to Sarachchandra Writings

Some stories begin with an idea. Some begin with a memory. Others simply refuse to leave you alone until they are written.

Sarachchandra Writings is a space for those stories — and for the many other forms of writing, observation and creativity that surround them.

Here you will find fiction, poetry, reflections, books, paintings, and occasional glimpses into the journey of a writer. There will also be essays and academic articles exploring ideas that deserve a little more time and attention than a social-media post can offer.

A writer's world, in many forms

Writing does not always stay inside the boundaries of a genre.

A memory can become a story.
A conversation can become a character.
A place can become a world.
A question can become an essay.
And sometimes, an image can say what words cannot.

That is the spirit behind this blog.

The Books section brings together my published works and the stories behind them. Stories and Poetry are spaces for fiction and verse, while Art & Paintings brings together another part of my creative journey.

The Writer's Journal will be more personal — observations, experiences, thoughts on writing, and the occasional detour that may not fit neatly anywhere else.

And for readers interested in ideas beyond literature, Academic Articles will offer longer-form writing on subjects that call for research, reflection and discussion.

Beyond the social-media post

Social media is wonderful for a thought, a photograph, a line from a story or a quick conversation.

But some things need more room.

This blog is intended to be that room.

It is a place where an idea can breathe, where a story can be read without being squeezed into a few lines, and where different strands of my work can come together in one place.

So, if you have arrived here through one of my books, a story, a painting, an article, or simply a passing post on social media — welcome.

శరచ్చంద్ర రైటింగ్స్‌కు స్వాగతం

కొన్ని కథలు ఒక ఆలోచనతో మొదలవుతాయి. కొన్ని ఒక జ్ఞాపకంతో మొదలవుతాయి. మరికొన్ని మాత్రం మనల్ని వదిలిపెట్టకుండా, వాటిని రాసే వరకు వెంటాడుతూనే ఉంటాయి.

శరచ్చంద్ర రైటింగ్స్ అలాంటి కథల కోసం — వాటి చుట్టూ ఉండే అనేక ఆలోచనలు, అనుభవాలు, పరిశీలనలు, సృజనాత్మక వ్యక్తీకరణల కోసం — ఒక స్థలం.

ఇక్కడ కథలు, కవితలు, ఆలోచనలు, పుస్తకాలు, చిత్రాలు, రచనా ప్రయాణానికి సంబంధించిన అనుభవాలు కనిపిస్తాయి. సోషల్ మీడియాలో కొన్ని పంక్తుల్లో చెప్పడం సాధ్యం కాని విషయాలపై విస్తృతమైన వ్యాసాలు, అకడమిక్ రచనలు కూడా ఇక్కడ చోటు చేసుకుంటాయి.

అనేక రూపాల్లో ఒక రచయిత ప్రపంచం

రచన ఎప్పుడూ ఒకే ప్రక్రియకు, ఒకే ప్రక్రియాశైలికి పరిమితం కాదు.

ఒక జ్ఞాపకం కథగా మారవచ్చు.
ఒక సంభాషణ ఒక పాత్రగా మారవచ్చు.
ఒక ప్రదేశం ఒక ప్రపంచంగా మారవచ్చు.
ఒక ప్రశ్న ఒక వ్యాసంగా మారవచ్చు.
కొన్నిసార్లు, మాటలు చెప్పలేనిదాన్ని ఒక చిత్రం చెప్పగలదు.

ఈ బ్లాగ్ వెనుక ఉన్న ఆలోచన అదే.

Books విభాగంలో నా ప్రచురిత పుస్తకాలు, వాటి వెనుక ఉన్న కథలు, అనుభవాలు ఉంటాయి. Stories, Poetry విభాగాల్లో కథలు, కవితలు ఉంటాయి. Art & Paintings నా సృజనాత్మక ప్రయాణంలోని మరో కోణాన్ని పరిచయం చేస్తుంది.

Writer's Journal కొంచెం వ్యక్తిగతమైన ప్రదేశం — రచన గురించి ఆలోచనలు, అనుభవాలు, పరిశీలనలు, రచయితగా ఎదురయ్యే చిన్న చిన్న సంఘటనలు, ఇంకా ఏదైనా ఒక ప్రత్యేక విభాగంలో ఇమడని విషయాలు ఇక్కడ కనిపిస్తాయి.

సాహిత్యాన్ని దాటి మరిన్ని ఆలోచనలపై ఆసక్తి ఉన్న పాఠకుల కోసం Academic Articles విభాగంలో పరిశోధన, విశ్లేషణ, చర్చకు తగిన అంశాలపై విస్తృతమైన వ్యాసాలు ఉంటాయి.

ఒక ఆలోచనను, ఒక ఫోటోను, ఒక కథలోని ఒక వాక్యాన్ని లేదా ఒక చిన్న అనుభవాన్ని పంచుకోవడానికి సోషల్ మీడియా అద్భుతమైన వేదిక.

కానీ కొన్ని విషయాలకు మరింత స్థలం అవసరం.

ఆ స్థలమే ఈ బ్లాగ్.

ఒక ఆలోచన తొందరపడకుండా ముందుకు సాగడానికి, ఒక కథను కొన్ని పంక్తుల్లోకి కుదించకుండా చదవడానికి, నా రచనలోని విభిన్న కోణాలన్నీ ఒకే చోట కలవడానికి ఈ బ్లాగ్ ఒక వేదికగా ఉండాలని నా ఉద్దేశం.

కాబట్టి మీరు ఇక్కడికి నా పుస్తకం ద్వారా వచ్చినా, ఒక కథ ద్వారా వచ్చినా, ఒక పెయింటింగ్ ద్వారా వచ్చినా, ఒక వ్యాసం ద్వారా వచ్చినా, లేదా సోషల్ మీడియాలో కనిపించిన ఒక చిన్న పోస్ట్ ద్వారా వచ్చినా — స్వాగతం.

చుట్టూ ఒకసారి చూడండి.
